About Me

I was born here in Chicago, and I come from a very close knit family. I am the oldest, and have one younger brother and sister. My house if filled with my huge family every single day, so it can get hectic, but it's also really fun. I adore animals, books and music. Even though I think Chicago is an amazing city, I dream of being able to travel where ever I want in the future. I love learning about different cultures, and I also love the ocean and making my way through small villages. My goal is to go to college, get a good job and then save that money up so I can just travel in peace. I have defiantly been bitten by the travel bug. Apart from exploring different cultures, I also like to explore many different foods. I'm proud to say I'm not much of a picky eater. I also like to hang out with my cat, Rocky, because he makes me really happy.

Why I chose GCE

I chose GCE because I feel like I’m with family. I don’t feel intimidated by anyone here. I know I can reach my full potential here, and express myself without being judged. I also like the cool clubs that they have to offer. I was able to be apart of Music Makers which was so fun because I was able to play music with my friends , and I was also apart of Louder Than A Bomb (LTAB), which was also a really cool experience because I was able to write poetry with my friends and then perform it in front of many people. I have had many different experiences that for sure have pushed me out of my comfort zone here at GCE, but it felt so good to finally get out of that bubble that I was so used to being in.
